How Do You Monitor VMs/Servers/Services?

Inquiring minds here at CloudBolt want to know:

  • How does your company/organization monitor its deployed compute resources?

  • What tools do you use?

  • Is there a single monitoring system or multiple?

  • How do users access monitoring data for their deployed servers/resources?

Any information you can provide would be very helpful as we continue to craft the roadmap for CloudBolt 8.0 and beyond.

we are using Solarwinds and our Automation engineer added a custom tab and populates with server/OS metrics from Solarwinds and displays them in the CB portal.

Diego Lzquierdo, do you have any pointers on bringing the monitoring statistics into CB from Solarwinds?  I've been reading through the API documentation for Solarwinds and everything I'm finding is geared towards adding nodes, not so much for reading the statistics.

Please pass on my praise to your Automation Engineer, this is a great idea that leverages existing tools!

We use Nagios / LibreNMS / Puppet / Elk stack

    We use multiple monitoring stats.

We now are building a live CMDB to provide multiple views for different departments
